Our story

Knowledge that fits around your life

Qibla Institute was founded to meet a growing need: providing those who work or study during the day with the opportunity to pursue higher-level Islamic studies in the evenings, without having to choose between their career and their commitment to seeking knowledge.

We believe these students are uniquely positioned to benefit the Ummah. They bring the skills and experience of their professions, whilst gaining sound Islamic knowledge, a passion for serving others, and a deep sense of purpose through their studies at Qibla.

Our goal extends far beyond the classroom. We want every student to develop depth in knowledge, strengthen their relationship with Allah, cultivate a mindset of unity, build lasting bonds of brotherhood, and leave equipped with the character, skills, and confidence to make a meaningful contribution to their families, communities, and the wider Ummah.

What began as a small circle of students studying personally with Ustadh Muaaz has, by the grace of Allah, grown into a thriving institute with a team of seven teachers serving students from across Luton.

Whether your aspiration is to become a teacher, a community leader, or simply a better Muslim, we invite you to become part of the Qibla family. Join us on a journey of seeking sacred knowledge, earning the pleasure of Allah Most High, and serving His creation.
